The Old Students’ Association, registered in 1990, has been instrumental in connecting alumni with the institution and fostering a strong network. Sports Achievements

Government College Hisar is widely recognized as a nursery of champions, producing athletes who have represented India on the world stage. Our students have competed and won medals at the Olympics, Youth Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and World Championships.

Notable International Achievements

  • Lakshy Kundu – Gold Medalist, World Bench Press Championship 2025 (Norway) and Asian Bench Press Championship 2025.

  • Dibag – Gold Medal in 100m Race at World Youth Ability Sports 2024 (Thailand); Bronze in Long Jump at Fazza World Para Athletics 2025 (Dubai).

  • Raman – Multi-medalist (Discus Throw, Shot Put, Javelin) at World Youth Ability Sports 2024 (Thailand).

  • Sweety Boora – Silver Medal, World Women's Boxing Championship 2015 (Korea).

  • Geetika Jakhar – Achieved distinction at Commonwealth Games; first Indian woman to receive the Arjuna Award in Wrestling.

  • Aarti Kohli – Represented India at the Seoul Olympic Games.

  • Poonam, Jagriti, Sonika, Savina, Priya, Gourav, Manisha, Nanita, Tanuja, Ashish, Usha, and Sapna – Brought laurels at various Asian, Commonwealth, and World Championships across disciplines.

National & University Achievements: The college has consistently secured top positions at the Kurukshetra University Games and has produced winners at the National, All India Inter-University, North Zone, State, and Inter-College levels.
